Sister Adventures

My sister, Stacey, came into town for a couple days and it was one of the highlights of our time here. She arrived in a cab—sooo New York like, I haven't even been in a cab and I've been here for two months.
We talked and talked. and talked. I could talk with her forever.
and packed in a plethora of activities for her couple days here.
One new adventure was to the tomb of Ulysses S. Grant, a block from where we live. Steven and I had walked by it—actually played frisbee right in front of it— unaware of what it actually was. It was a delight to go inside and look up to see the beautiful architecture.
We went to the Met, Central Park, Times Square, Washington Sq, Riverside Church and ate at some of our favorites— Indus Valley for Indian food, Pop's of Brooklyn Diner, and Junior's for cheesecake (second time in a week, yep- hello, gym tomorrow morning!)
We miss her already and am so glad we got to have her here!

    1. Oh I wish you came too!! :) The rowhouse was on a street by the Met and central park. If I could live on that street I would. Huge trees + rowhouse = lovely indeed.
